FAQ: Can I merge several snippet sets into one?

There is no specific merge function in the GUI, but it’s easy enough to copy all the snippets from one set into another and thus build up a “master” set. Here’s how:

  1. Create a new “master” set.
  2. Go to one of your existing sets and click once in the list of snippets, then press the cmd-A keyboard shortcut to select them all, followed by cmd-C to copy them all to the clipboard.
  3. Switch to the newly created master set, click anywhere in the snippets pane and press cmd-V to paste.
  4. Switch to another set and repeat the process until all your snippets have been copied into the master set.
