When you purchase a software licence in order to register software you have downloaded from us directly, you will provide us with personal information, which is used for issuing your licence details, as well as for fraud detection.
We don’t process or retain transactional information ourselves, we delegate this to trusted experts with a long, reputable history of handling customers’ financial data safely and securely. Your purchase is made through Fastspring, and the transaction processed by either your bank, your credit / debit card provider or PayPal depending on your choice during checkout. The companies named above are PCI and GDPR compliant, and take your data security very seriously.
Once your transaction is complete, we securely retain the following information: your name, the email address you used to register your software licence, the type of licence purchased and the number of individual users it covers, the billing address, the transaction ID, and whether you have chosen to receive our newsletter. This allows us to better provide you with support and identify your licence details if you lose them in the future. If you would like us to delete or amend any of the information we hold about you, please contact us by email or via the contact form on our Support page and we will be happy to oblige. Please note, that if you do instruct us to delete your information from our records we may subsequently be unable to assist you in the event that you lose your licence details.
