FAQ: Is TypeIt4Me a keylogger? How safe is it? Does it spy on me?
Don’t worry, TypeIt4Me is not a keylogger in the scary sense. While it does have to log keystrokes to do its job, these keystrokes are never saved or sent anywhere. Moreover, TypeIt4Me empties its cache every time you press the spacebar (or any other keys you’ve set up to trigger expansion). Generally, TypeIt4Me only briefly remembers a few characters of what you most recently typed. Using TypeIt4Me does not compromise your privacy.
