Users reported a bug that prevents dates from expanding in version 5.3 (the Mac App Store version released 9th July). We fixed this and two other bugs (related to Add a clipping and TAB triggering in Safari) yesterday and 5.3.1 is now “Waiting for review” in the App Store. Apologies for the inconvenience.

It is now over 14 days since v5.3.1 was submitted to the App Store. The update is not yet available there.
I am as anxious as you to see the update go through. It should now happen any day given that the current average waiting time on the Mac App Store is 14 days according to http://reviewtimes.shinydevelopment.com/
In the end, the update took 16 days to be reviewed and approved by Apple but it’s now available.
